Chris Pratt and director James Gunn admit to have gotten rather emotional after they finished filming scenes with Kurt Russell for Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2.
Russell plays Pratt’s father in the film and was paid tribute to on social media. Director Gunn, first posted on Facebook:
‘That’s a wrap on Kurt Russell for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. I’ll admit I’m welling up a bit,’
‘It’s not often your heroes are as awesome in person as you believed they were as a kid. A wonderful guy and incredible actor in every way. And he was nice to my Mom, Dad, and dog. I couldn’t ask for anything more,’ he said.
He then added on twitter:
And that’s a wrap on Kurt Russell on #GOTGVol2. A true talent and pleasure in every way. I will admit to a small tear in my eye.

Chris Pratt also then confessed on twitter that he shed tears at saying goodbye to Russell on set:
