Christian Bale is unrecognizable at TIFF having “eaten a lot of pies”

Christian Bale has attended the Toronto International Film Festival and is almost unrecognizable as he has piled on the pounds for a new role. The Dark Knight actor is set to play former US Vice President Dick Cheney in Backseat, and in order to play the part physically and accurately, he has gained a lot of weight, thanks to the consumption of pies:

“I’m just eating a lot of pies so far,” he told Variety at the festival.
