Christopher Nolan’s forthcoming war drama Dunkirk will have its trailer debuted this weekend in theaters ahead of Suicide Squad.

According to Twitter account TrailerTrack, a one minute-long trailer will be shown in cinemas:

We can then also expect the trailer to land online over the coming days.

With both movies being distributed by Warner Bros and Christopher Nolan’s ties to the Batman universe, it certainly makes sense to debut the trailer ahead of Suicide Squad.

Dunkrik stars Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance, Cillian Murphy and Kenneth Branagh and “tells the story of the Miracle of Dunkirk, in which a fleet of British ships and boats – many of them manned by volunteers – rescued stranded Allied troops from a French beach, has become a Second World War legend.”
