We’ve got some pretty, pretty good news. Curb Your Enthusiasm, HBO’s long-running comedy series, is officially coming back for a ninth season.
In a statement, HBO programming president Casey Bloys said, “We’re thrilled that Larry has decided to do a new season of Curb and can’t wait to see what he has planned.”
Season 8 of Curb You Enthusiasm aired back in 2011. Although it looked like that might be the final season, Larry David is officially back. In response to the new season, David stated, “In the immortal words of Julius Caesar, ‘I left, I did nothing, I returned.'”
After taking something of a sabbatical, David has recently resurfaced with his dead-on impression of Bernie Sanders on SNL. One can’t help but wonder if this influenced David to continue with Curb.
