We had to wait almost a decade for another Anchorman, but a sequel to Daddy’s Home is already in the works.
According to Deadline, Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg will both be back for the followup to last year’s hit comedy. Sean Anders will also return to direct and co-write the script with John Morris. It’s unknown what the plot will be or when the film will open in theaters
Although Daddy’s Home wasn’t the biggest critical success, the film did hold its own against Star Wars: The Force Awakens at the box office and made $240 million worldwide.
