Daniel Craig Would Rather Commit Suicide Than Do Another Bond Movie
Daniel Craig has truly cemented his place as one of the greatest James Bonds ever. Many of us would like to see him continue playing this immortal character for years to come. Spectre will more than likely be Craig’s last outing as 007, however.
When asked about doing another Bond picture, Craig told TimeOut, “I’d rather break this glass and slash my wrists. No, not at the moment. Not at all. That’s fine. I’m over it at the moment. We’re done. All I want to do is move on.”
Of course that’s not to say Craig’s return is totally out of the question. Craig went on to say, “I haven’t given it any thought. For at least a year or two, I just don’t want to think about it. I don’t know what the next step is. I’ve no idea. Not because I’m trying to be cagey. Who the f*** knows? At the moment, we’ve done it. I’m not in discussion with anybody about anything.”
Craig further added, “If I did another Bond movie, it would only be for the money.”
When asked if he had any advice for the next actor who takes on the role of James Bond, Craig responded, “Don’t be s***. You’ve got to step up. People do not make movies like this any more. This is really rare now. So don’t be s***. … But no, just make sure you’re great. You’ve got to push yourself as far as you can. It’s worth it, it’s James Bond.”
Clearly, Craig is officially worn out after four movies and is ready to turn in his license to kill. Still, we’d love to see him come back for at least one more mission.
