Daniel Craig’s TV show commitments likely wouldn’t interfere with Bond 25

Another day, another story about Daniel Craig and that Bond 25 role. Although it has looked increasingly unlikely that he will be returning to reprise his role as the super spy, there comes a slight glimmer of hope for his fans. Last week, Deadline reported that Showtime president and CEO David Nevins doesn’t believe Craig’s commitment to the 20-episode TV series Purity would prevent him from filming for the next Bond movie, unless of course, production on the film were to begin earlier than expected. He made this comment when speaking at the Television Critics Association press tour.

Will he or won’t he? That’s the question. And if not, who else will take on the role? Probably not Tom Hiddleston. We’ll keep you posted as we hear more.
