Daniel Radcliffe won’t rule out Harry Potter return

Daniel Radcliffe has revealed that he wouldn’t rule out a return to his iconic role of Harry Potter, if the script was right.

Radcliffe told the Radio Times:

“It would depend on the script. The circumstances would have to be pretty extraordinary. But then I am sure Harrison Ford said that with Han Solo [in Star Wars], and look what happened there.”

Radcliffe, shot to fame at an early age, after playing the boy wizard in eight films, but could he now be open to more?

“‘No,’ for now but [I’m] leaving room to backtrack in the future.” he said.

The 26-year-old can next be seen as a magician in Now You See Me 2, with his role drawing comparisons to his Harry Potter character:

“I actually didn’t consider the connection to magic until somebody pointed it out to me. You are going to get loads of questions about magic again,’ and I went, ‘Oh, damn, I guess I am!'”

JK Rowling’s latest saga, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, recently opened in London’s West End. And if it ever gets a film adaptation, maybe we could see Radcliffe return one day!
