The air date for upcoming Netflix-exclusive show Daredevil has been revealed: April 10 will see the blind superhero take to the streets of New York (where the series was also shot), and battle crime in a grimier fashion than his big-screen counterparts The Avengers. Unlike Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD, all episodes of the show will be available to watch at once on the streaming site – but as far as the creators behind it are concerned, Daredevil will also sit inside the Marvel Cinematic Universe the same as Agents of Shield. Drew Goddard, of The Cabin in the Woods fame, has written the first two episodes, with Daredevil himself played by Charlie Cox, and supported by Rosario Dawson and Vincent D’Onofrio. This will be the first of four planned Netflix-only Marvel series, with AKA Jessica Jones due to air later this year.
