Disney recently announced that Indiana Jones 5 is officially happening with Steven Spielberg and Harrison Ford both on board. Now The Hollywood Reporter says that David Koepp, who co-wrote the screenplay for 2008’s Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, is set to write the script.
Koepp has collaborated with Spielberg on numerous other projects, penning the screenplays for Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, and War of the Worlds. Lucasfilm’s Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall are also set to produce. There’s still no word if George Lucas will have any involvement, however.
Indiana Jones 5 hits theaters on July 19, 2019.
