DC insider says Wonder Woman “stinks” and has “same problems as BvS”
After DC’s most recent films, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad disappointed many, fans will be hoping to see a return to form with Wonder Woman. However, it’s not a good start for the Amazonian warrior’s solo outing, as its first review is a poor one.
According to Movie Web, a DC insider has seen an early cut of the film and was not impressed:
“I’m very disappointed in what I saw, and it seems like all the problems are the same problems. It’s discombobulated, it doesn’t have narrative flow. It’s just very disjointed.”
These comments were recalled by Sasha Perl-Raver, host of the Schmoes Know show, who spoke to the insider. Perl-Raver remains positive about the film though:
“I have tremendous belief that ‘Wonder Woman’ is gonna be awesome” she said.
Although, she reaffirmed that the insider who’s reportedly seen the film, is not a fan:
“I heard it stinks from the same person who told me that they heard that ‘BvS’ stinks.” she added.
Late last year, we got the exclusive on Wonder Woman going back for reshoots, which may have been a sign of Warner Bros. not being entirely happy with things. Despite this, producer Deborah Snyder has assured fans that the movie is very different in tone and style than Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad, she told Variety.
We can make our own minds up when Wonder Woman, which stars Gal Gadot and Chris Pine, is released on June 2nd. Check out the trailer in the meantime:
