While Warner Bros. and DC had a huge hit earlier this year with Wonder Woman, Justice League was met with mixed reviews and has been one of 2017’s biggest box office letdowns. This has prompted the studio to rethink the DC Extended Universe and their first course of action is replacing Jon Berg.

According to Variety, Berg will no longer act as the head of DC Films’ production division. Berg will instead be working alongside producer Roy Lee of films like The Lego Movie and It. Meanwhile, Berg’s replacement is still being discussed, as is the future of the franchise.

Flickreel recently published a feature about The Imminent Death of the DC cinematic universe. Is it possible that Justice League has put the franchise on death row or will Wonder Woman 2 save the day?
