Deadpool writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick have already started on the script for the sequel which, according to The Hollywood Reporter, has been given the green light.
Fox is determined to keep Deadpool‘s creative team together, however director Tim Miller is not expected to helm the follow-up.
Ryan Reynolds will return to play the bad-mouthed eponymous hero, and you can see him take on the role in the first film which hits screens in the UK today, and the US on the 12th Feb.
