Death Wish Remake with Bruce Willis Moving Forward

In 2013, news started to circulate regarding Bruce Willis starring in MGM’s Death Wish remake. Deadline reports that the project is finally moving forward with Willis set to star. Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado of Big Bad Wolves will direct while Dan Gilroy and Graham Yost will pen the screenplay.

The original Death Wish film came out in 1974 with Michael Winner behind the camera and inspired four sequels. This version will apparently stick closer to Brian Garfield’s 1972 novel.

Production for Death Wish starts next year.
