Dunkirk’s Harry Styles admits he may not act again
Harry Styles makes his acting debut in Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk but admits he may not act again. The One Direction star plays Alex in the epic war drama but may choose an early retirement, as he told press at the film’s world Premiere in London yesterday:
“I’d do this one again but it may be one and done … I’d [only] do this one again.” he said.
Early reactions from critics have praised the movie and Styles’ performance, assuring fans that “he can act” as he puts in a “strong” display:
The popstar turned actor then compared both his careers, revealing that he was “very fortunate”to land the role in Dunkirk:
“It feels a little different for sure you’ve done the thing already so this is the fun bit. I loved it I had a great time I’ve been very fortunate to be part of this film. When I heard about Chris doing it I was kind of already excited to watch it to be honest and I just wanted to be involved. The story is such an important piece of British history … And I think everyone thought we were making something special.”
You can see Harry in Dunkirk at theaters from 21st July.
