Elizabeth Banks to Play Rita in Power Rangers Movie
Lionsgate’s upcoming Power Rangers reboot has cast its Rita Repulsa. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Elizabeth Banks of The Hunger Games will play the Rangers’ archenemy.
Rita acted as the main antagonist in the first season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. After spending 10,000 years in a space dumpster, the sorceress sets out to conquer earth.
In addition to starring in the new Power Rangers movie, Banks is also busy directing Pitch Perfect 3 and the Charlie’s Angels reboot.
Power Rangers is currently set to come out on 24 March 2017
