Emilia Clarke Won’t Be Back for Terminator Sequels

It’s uncertain when and if we might see another Terminator sequel. One thing we know for sure, however, is that Emilia Clarke won’t be returning to the franchise.

Clarke took over the role of Sarah Connor in last year’s Terminator Genisys, which received poor reviews and wasn’t the biggest box office success either. The planned followup to Genisys was thus removed from Paramount’s release calendar.

When ComingSoon asked the Game of Thrones actress about starring in more potential Terminator movies, she responded, “No… Can I say that? It’s okay. No. Uh-uh. But I have some very different roles coming up.”

We don’t blame Clarke for being done with The Terminator, but we do look forward to seeing her in Me Before You, which opens on June 3.
