The first clip showcasing David Beckham’s acting debut in King Arthur: Legend of the Sword has arrived and fans have taken to social media to mock his “hilarious” performance.
The retired soccer star has a small part which can be seen in the clip below:
The mocking began with celebrity Piers Morgan, who sarcastically called the performance “fantastic” with the “Oscars looming”:
“I thought it was fantastic. He could be the third Mitchell brother in EastEnders. I thought it was a very, very good performance. Will David Beckham be able to make it in Hollywood? Probably not [but] I can see Oscars looming. Another talent from that super talented family.” Morgan said on Good Morning Britain.
