Fast and Furious 8: Vin Diesel and The Rock are being “separated” on press tour

The feud between Fast and Furious co-stars Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson continues as the pair have reportedly been “separated” on the press tour of their latest film The Fate of the Furious.

Universal is expected to release new footage of the film at CinemaCon today, with Diesel in attendance. However, Johnson will not attend, coincidence?

Last year, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson was not a happy man after taking to Instagram to express his anger at his fellow male cast-members whilst shooting the sequel:

And according to TMZ, Vin Diesel was the main target of this:

‘We’re told The Rock has butted heads with Vin during the production, in part because V.D. is a producer and has made decisions that didn’t sit well with the former wrestling champ,’

Universal insisted that pair had buried the hatchet. But now, according to a source at The Hollywood Reporter, the two tough-guy actors are being kept apart on the film’s press tour:

“They’re keeping them separated as much as possible,” an insider told THR.

TMZ also claims that they had a crisis meeting, because tensions were running so high. We doubt their beef will have any impact on the film though.
