First reactions for Blade Runner 2049 are incredibly positive

The first reactions to Blade Runner 2049 are in and it’s already being hailed as a masterpiece.

On one hand, this shouldn’t come as a surprise, what with Denis Villeneuve of Arrival at the film’s helm. On the other hand, sequels can be tricky, especially when they occur decades after the original. The early word of mouth bodes quite for Blade Runner 2049, though. Just take a look at some of the initial reactions below.

Of course first reactions can only tell us so much, seeing how Batman v Superman also garnered lots of positive early tweets. So we’ll have to wait and judge for ourselves when Blade Runner 2049 hits theaters on October 6, 2017.
