Having won three Best Actor Academy Awards, Daniel Day-Lewis can do little wrong. As excited as we are for Paul Thomas Anderson’s Phantom Thread, it’ll sadly be Day-Lewis’ final film before retiring from the silver screen.
The first trailer for Phantom Thread was just released and it offers a glimpse of what might be Day-Lewis’ fourth Oscar-winning role. We’ll have to wait until December 25 to see exactly how strong the film and performance are. For now, though, we’ll gladly take the trailer.
