Fox Searchlight has today unveiled the new trailer for the upcoming biopic Jackie.
Directed by Pablo Larrain (No, Neruda), the film tells the story of Jackie Kennedy (Natalie Portman) as she deals with the tragic aftermath of her husband John F.Kennedy’s assassination and to help keep his legacy intact. Already a winner at some of this autumn’s festival circuit, the film is set to be a big player at next year’s Academy Awards.
Billy Crudup (Watchmen), Peter Sarsgaard (Black Mass), Greta Gerwig (Maggie’s Plan), Richard E. Grant (Logan) and John Hurt (Snowpiercer) co-star.
Jackie is released in US cinemas on December 2nd and in the UK on January 17th, 2017.
