Future Star Wars Films to Focus on Skywalker Family

Few details have been dropped about the plot The Force Awakens, but Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy recently told Costco Connection that the Skywalker family will remain the main focus of the new Star Wars trilogy.

“The Saga films focus on the Skywalker family saga. The stories follow a linear narrative that connects to the previous six films. The Force Awakens follows Return of the Jedi and continues that generational story.”

It’s still unknown who exactly will carry on the Skywalker legacy, but Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher are both set to return.
