Ghostbusters 3 director offers update

Paul Feig, the director of the upcoming Ghostbusters 3 (or, since it’s being called a reboot, maybe it’ll just be titled Ghostbusters), has given a bit of an update concerning the hotly anticipated film. While none of the cast are yet announced, and plot particulars are tightly under wraps, Feig gave a few tantalising details to Empire about the project. He said, ‘…to me it’s such a New York movie and the biggest sin would be to pull it out of there… I just love New York and, selfishly, I just want to shoot in New York.’ He also went on to state that he is in talks with Melissa McCarthy, who has been widely rumoured to appear as the lead in Ghostbusters 3 (to get a glimpse of what a McCarthy-led movie directed by Feig would be like, we have Spy released later in the year). What are your feelings about a third Ghostbusters movie? Have you come to terms with it; are you excited; are you terrified? Let us know in the comments below.
