Ghostbusters may not meet the required Chinese censor standards, even with a funky new title.

Variety reports that Sony Pictures has renamed the film to Super Power Dare Die Team to try and get a release in the world’s second-largest movie market. However, it’s unlikely it will even make the big screen in China at all.

This is mainly down to its subject matter as “the state-controlled film board does not approve of films that promote cults or superstitious beliefs.” Productions like Crimson Peak failed to get a release in the country for similar reasons.
