Guardians of the Galaxy star slept through major scene

In case you haven’t caught up with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 yet, keep in mind that we’ll be delving into spoiler territory.

In the film’s final act, Michael Rooker’s Yondu makes the ultimate sacrifice to save Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord. The scene is followed by a touching funeral in which our heroes bid Yondu farewell. Rooker was apparently dead tired during the scene because he snored through it.

Director James Gunn shared a blooper on his Facebook page in which Rooker snores during Star-Lord’s eulogy. Although the snoring takes away from the dramatic tension, Pratt still managed to stay in character.

“This was going on constantly while we were trying to shoot this scene, and it is completely real,” Gunn wrote.
