Harley Quinn Spin-Off with Margot Robbie in Development

Margot Robbie is set to make her debut as Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad later this year. Warner Bros. is also looking to expand upon the DC Extended Universe with a Harley Quinn spin-off.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Robbie would reprise her role and act as a producer. In addition to Harley, the film would also be about several other female DC characters, such as Batgirl and Birds of Prey.

Warner Bros. hasn’t revealed much about the project, although reports indicate that a female writer is working on the screenplay.
