Harley Quinn spinoff film gets title and director

Warner Bros.’ Harley Quinn spinoff film starring Margot Robbie has had its title and director announced.

We’ve known for a while that a Harley film was in the works but The Hollywood Reporter has now confirmed its title as Gotham City Sirens.

THR also reports that Suicide Squad director David Ayer will return to the helm. Gotham City Sirens is written by Geneva Robertson-Dworet, who is also penning the upcoming Tomb Raider.

DC fans will be familiar with the film’s title from the popular series which centred on Harley, Poison Ivy and Selina Kyle. Based on this, it’s extremely likely that Ivy and Catwoman will feature in the film.
