Harrison Ford becomes the highest-grossing actor of all time

Harrison Ford has officially become the highest grossing actor of all time at the US box office.

Of course this is thanks to the success of the record-breaking Star Wars: The Force Awakens. According to Box Office Mojo, over his whole career, he has starred in projects that have collected a massive ​$4.7 billion in box office receipts in North America.

Ford overtakes fellow ​Star Wars​ actor Samuel L Jackson who has brought in $4.6 billion – while third place is Tom Hanks with $4.4 billion.
