Heath Ledger “had plans” to play the Joker again
It’s been revealed that Heath Ledger “had plans” to reprise his role as the Joker in the Batman films. The news comes from Heath’s sister Kate, who spoke of the “love” he had for 2008’s The Dark Knight and that he wasn’t finished with the iconic character.
Kate was speaking to News.com.au shortly after the documentary about her brother, I am Heath Ledger, was released:
“He had huge plans for his future. He was so proud of what he had done in Batman. And I know he had plans for another Batman. He loved working with Chris Nolan and Christian Bale and Gary Oldman. He just had the best time ever doing that film. He couldn’t wait to tell us all about it and he was doing the voice and laughing, showing me all the rushes”
