Lionsgate just might bring Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen to the silver screen.

TheWrap reports that the studio is in “advanced negotiations” to distribute the reboot, which is hoping to start filming in September.

David Harbour of Stranger Things has been cast as the titular demon, who Ron Perlman previously portrayed in Guillemot del Toro’s interpretations. Neil Marshall of The Descent will reportedly direct the reboot, which is aiming for a darker tone and maybe even an R-rating.
