Box Office Mojo has announced that Hotel Transylvania 3 is set to come out on September 21, 2018.
The original Hotel Transylvania was a box office hit and its 2015 sequel set a new record high for the month of September. Considering some of his other recent films, Adam Sandler could definitely use another success.
According to TheWrap, however, Director Genndy Tartakovsky won’t be returning for a third movie. “Hotel Transylvania 3 is going to happen without me,” he said. “Two is enough. I have a lot of other ideas, and I kind of have to express them and have them come out.” Hopefully this means Tartakovsky will finally get that Samurai Jack movie off the ground.
