Geostorm was originally set to come out roughly 20 months ago, but the release date was ultimately pushed back to last weekend. With a budget of $120 million, the disaster flick really had to impress during its debut… and that wasn’t at all the case.
The film only made $14.7 million domestically and $66.8 million worldwide. According to TheWrap, the final totals are likely to fall between $300 million and $350 million worldwide. Geostorm will be Warner Bros,’ second biggest flop of 2017, right behind King Arthur: Legend of the Sword.
