Ian McShane cast in Hellboy reboot
Ian McShane of American Gods and John Wick has been cast in Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen.
Hell yeah!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, McShane will play Professor Trevor Broom, who adopts Hellboy as his own. David Harbour of Stranger Things has already been cast as the titular demon while Neil Marshall of The Descent is set to direct.
The R-rated Hellboy reboot is aiming for a 2018 release date. Given the franchise’s gothic nature, the always entertaining McShane should feel right at home.
