Frozen 2 is in the works and many fans are on board with giving Elsa a female love interest. This has sparked a social media campaign to #GiveElsaAGirlfriend.
Idina Menzel, who of of course voiced the iconic ice queen, spoke with ET on the red carpet of Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards. When asked about the campaign, she responded, “I think it’s great.” Menzel went on to say, “Disney’s just gotta contend with that. I’ll let them figure that out.”
Whether Elsa is given a same-sex partner or not, Menzel says that the character has “changed my life.”
