Not too long ago, Disney announced that they would be producing a sequel to Mary Poppins set 20 years after the original 1964 film. When considering who could possibly fill Julie Andrews’ shoes, Emily Blunt is a name that instantly comes to mind. According to Variety, this dream casting may actually come true.

It’s been reported that Blunt is Disney’s top choice to play the magical nanny. If Blunt does land the part, she would be reunited with director Rob Marshall of Into the Woods. John DeLuca and Marc Platt and also on board to produce.

What do you think? Should Blunt play Mary Poppins or should the role go to Anne Hathaway or Kristen Bell?
