Ivan Reitman steps down from directing duties for Ghostbusters 3

As the world of cinema was shaken by the news of Harold Ramis’ untimely death, friend and collaborator Ivan Reitman has decided to step down from directing the forthcoming Ghostbusters 3. Despite directing both of the previous two productions, Reitman has decided to merely take on a role as producer instead – sparking a host of rumours as to who will replace him, with The Lego Movie‘s Christopher Miller and Phil Lord the current favourites to take over the helm.
