J.J. Abrams says it’s “no accident” that Luke Skywalker isn’t in the new Star Wars trailers

The current question on every Star Wars fans lips is where in Yoda’s name is Luke Skywalker? The hero of the original trilogy has been absent from the new film’s trailers and posters but now the Force Awakens director J.J Abrams finally has given us a response…

“These are good questions to be asking. I can’t wait for you to find out the answer,” Abrams told AP while on the red carpet of the GLSEN Respect Awards. When pushed if there was a reason why Luke has been left off the marketing for the movie, Abrams simply responded with, “it’s no accident.”

Abrams also said that the film’s final cut will be finished before the visual effects are completed in the next few weeks, and added that there’s still one more scoring session left to do with composer John Williams.
