J.K. Rowling Unveils American Word for Muggle
With Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them just about a year away, J.K. Rowling has been getting us hyped by revealing fun facts about the Harry Potter universe. For example, did you know you’ve been pronouncing Voldemort wrong all these years? Now Rowling has revealed the proper way for Americans to address Muggles, the wizarding word for humans without magic.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Rowling said the the American term for a non-magical human being is “No-Maj.”
