James Franco has shared an almost unrecognizable image of himself in his upcoming movie The Disaster Artist.
The Disaster Artist tells the story of the making of 2003’s The Room, which has a huge cult following because of its poor quality, voted one of the worst movies ever made. Well now, it’s getting its own film with Franco directing and starring.
Franco plays The Room star, writer and director Tommy Wiseau and he posted a first look at his character on Instagram:

James’ brother, Dave Franco portrays Greg Sestero (who played Mark in The Room). While Zac Efron, Seth Rogen and Alison Brie also star.
The film is based on the non-fiction book of the same name about Wiseau, the problems on set and how his terrible movie became a cult-success.
The Disaster Artist (also going by the name of The Masterpiece) makes its premiere at the SXSW Festival on March 10th.
