James McAvoy has dropped a huge hint on how his famously bald X-Men character Professor Charles Xavier loses his hair.
The actor was speaking about the upcoming film X-Men: Apocalypse on The Graham Norton Show when he hinted at a “horrible and painful” event that causes him to pull his hair out.
“We couldn’t have a superhero just lose his hair, so he goes through something so horrible and painful that he literally half pulls his hair out and the rest falls out,” he said.
Asked if he might be in trouble after giving away the teaser, he said: “I know, Fox Studios that owns me might be angry with me!”
X-Men: Apocalypse hits screens in May 2016.
