Jamie Foxx had harsh words to say about his last movie while promoting his upcoming film Baby Driver.
Foxx criticized Sleepless, the previous film he starred in, at the BET Awards on Sunday:
“I can’t wait to tell you about that joint Baby Driver! It brings a thrill ride, so everybody can experience it. And it’s good too! It ain’t like that last joint I had. I know, it’s tough. It’s tough when you still gotta promote it. You know it’s bad when they don’t ask you nothing about the movie.” the Ray actor said.

Baby Driver brings a thrill ride, It ain’t like that last joint I had. It’s tough when you still gotta promote it.
Directed by Baran bo Odar, Sleepless was released last January and received generally negative reviews from critics, with a poor 21% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Which is stark contrast to Baby Driver’s 100% rating on the site.
Sleepless is an action thriller, which tells the story of a cop (Foxx) with a connection to the criminal underworld who scours a nightclub in search of his kidnapped son.
It had a disappointing box office return, But his latest, Baby Driver looks set to storm the box office when it crashes into theaters on Wednesday. Watch the trailer below:
