Jennifer Lawrence confirmed earlier this year that X-Men: Apocalypse would be her final outing as Mystique. Now, however, Lawrence isn’t entirely sure if she’ll return to the franchise.

The Oscar-winning actress recently spoke with Entertainment Weekly regarding her future with X-Men. While Lawrence said that “there is hope,” she’s sick of wearing Mystique’s blue body paint.

When Lawrence first signed on for 2011’s X-Men: First Class, she didn’t care about the “fumes and toxins.” After three movies, though, all that makeup is starting to get to her.

Nevertheless, Lawrence said, “I love working with Bryan, and I love these movies.” So she might be open to coming back if asked.

In any case, Fox has multiple X-Men movies on the horizon with Deadpool 2, Gambit, and Wolverine 3.
