Jennifer Lawrence says a Hunger Games prequel is ‘too soon’
Jennifer Lawrence has ruled out the possibility of her featuring in the mooted Hunger Games prequel movies, saying: “It’s too soon.”
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 was originally designed to be the final instalment in the film series. However, Michael Burns of Lionsgate said last week that the studio is exploring possible ideas for prequel movies.
Jennifer Lawrence isn’t too impressed with the idea though as she told Variety: “I wouldn’t be involved. I think it’s too soon. They’ve got to let the body get cold, in my opinion.”
So far The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 has grossed a sizeable $530 million (£350 million) worldwide.
