Johnny Depp named as the most overpaid actor of the year

Johnny Depp has been named by Forbes as Hollywood’s ‘most overpaid’ actor of 2015.

Forbes’ list is conducted based on stars whose films make the lowest profit in comparison to their salary in 2015. Unfortunately for Depp, he returned just $1.20 at the box office for every $1 that he was paid.

Depp is one of the highest paid actors in the world and has an estimated annual income of $30 million. But he’s not had a great year with the majority of his recent films bombing at the box office.

The entire 2015 top ten list are male with Denzel Washington in 2nd place followed by Will Ferrell, Liam Neeson and Will Smith.
