Warner Bros. and Japanese studio Toho have decided to team up to produce a live-action adaption of the anime Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, which will be directed by Takashi Miike.
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure is a long-running Japanese manga and anime, written by Hirohiko Araki. It has sold around 90 million copies to date, while the film is to be based on Part 4 of the manga series titled ‘Diamond is Unbreakable’. The film’s cast includes Kento Yamazaki and Josuke Higashikata.
The release date was announced for summer 2017. But no announcement on the distribution deal has been made yet.
