Jon Watts returning for Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel
Director Jon Watts will reportedly return for the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming.
According to Variety, Watts is currently chatting with Marvel and Sony about helming the followup.
The next installment in the Spider-Man franchise is set to come out on July 5, 2019, acting as the beginning of Phase 4 in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Until then, Tom Holland’s Spidey will be back in 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War.
