Josh Gad Writing Gorgeous George Biopic

Josh Gad, who you all probably know best as the snowman from Frozen, has signed on to co-develop a biopic about George Raymond Wagner, who wrestling fans know best as Gorgeous George. Variety says that Gad will write the script with Ryan Dixon for WWE Studios.

Everybody loves a villain and Gorgeous George was one of the greatest to ever enter the ring during the First Golden Age of Professional Wrestling.

“Gorgeous George was a true pioneer in television,” said Michael Luisi, President of WWE Studios said in a statement. “Josh is a true talent and we are thrilled to see him and Ryan tackle such a groundbreaking story.”
