Shia LaBeouf‘s latest film Man Down was a huge flop in the UK. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the war drama only sold one ticket at a theater in Burnley, grossing just $8.70/£7.
In its defence, the film did only get a limited release in the UK at select theaters. However, selling just one ticket is remarkably poor. Man Down did at least perform better in the US, earning $454,490 at the box office.
LaBeouf starred alongside the likes of Jai Courtney, Kate Mara and Gary Oldman. The story follows LaBeouf’s Gabriel Drummer “a war veteran suffering from PTSD following his tours in Afghanistan who, after returning home, goes on a desperate search to find his missing son.”
Man Down did generally receive poor reviews so a low turnout at theaters was expected, but certainly not as low as one person! Check out its trailer below:
