Kevin Bacon has just been cast in a new thriller from director Greg McLean. Jungle will pit Bacon deep in the Amazon rainforest sometime in 1981, and is based loosely on the true story of Yossi Ghinsberg how became lost in the wilderness. Bacon and McLean have worked together before on the upcoming 6 Miranda Drive, also a thriller, so could this be the start of a new director-actor partnership? Either way, Jungle sounds like it could be another exciting entry in the survival genre, as a lone Bacon fends off the evils he faces in the wild.
